Do I get charged matching with a Kuya or Ate?
Written by Tim Michael
When you request for an Ate or Kuya, the App matches you to a nearby MyKuya Partner to run your errand.
That's when you can begin to chat with an Ate or Kuya to explain them the task and they will convey to you their understanding of the task along with a time estimate.
Only when both parties agree on the task in the chat window and the Partner seeks permission to begin the task, he/she then starts the job and a "job started" sign appears on the left side of the screen, that's when the timer starts! You get charged from this time.
This is how it appears in your chat window:
*Note: After the Job starts with consensus of both parties, the tasks may include walking time or transit time to run errands depending upon the nature of task assigned to the Ate or Kuya. These times will be part of the payment.
You will never be charged if you don't get matched! You will also receive a notification that the partner has started the task.
