Bring nature inside your homes with MyKuya

Another week living in the pandemic is upon us. We sure miss going outside and seeing nature, but for safety measures, we need to continue staying indoors. But that doesn’t mean we can’t stay productive and fun at home!

Like always, the MyKuya team continues to work hard to bring the best quality of services for our customers with just one tap on our app.

MyKuya in your area

As part of our mission to provide more services to our customers, we’re ramping up our partnerships with commercial establishments in the metro.

We’ve recently added Araneta City to our list of commercial partners. We’re aware that there are also a lot of residents and office workers near the area who need help with their chores and other personal businesses. That’s why we’ve set up Araneta City-Zen personal shoppers for them who can accomplish requests at any of the malls in Araneta: Gateway Mall, Ali Mall, Farmers Plaza, Farmers Market, and Farmers Garden.

Improving MyLifestyle

One of the things the MyKuya team is crazy over right now is indoor plants. You can say we have a couple of plant-titos and plant-titas in the office! We know that a lot of people are buying and taking care of indoor plants as well. We did a quick search online that one of the best places to purchase indoors plants from is Plants Express PH.

Having some green babies around our safe spaces is actually good for health. We learned that houseplants not only remove up to 87% of air toxins in 24 hours, but they also help improve concentration and productivity, reduce stress levels, and boost our mood.

Work and life in general have been stressful so far, so it would be good to have some plants to help us relax.

Aside from being plant parents, some of us in the team are also pet parents. We love our pets so much that we spoil them all the time! Because of this, we were happy when we heard that Dogs and the City reopened its stores. We can finally give our little paw-mily members a couple of new toys, treats, scratching posts, litter boxes, and house cages again.

We were worried that we wouldn’t be able to buy new pet essentials because of the pandemic. Now we’re relieved that we get to replenish our supplies for our adorable pets at home.

Munch your worries away

We know one of the best ways to distress is by eating food. A bunch of us at the MyKuya team have stocks of snacks in our office drawers. Some of these snacks include candies, crispy wafers, chocolate bars, and some packs of M&Ms. Of course, we need these to stay energized and productive so we can think of ways to better serve our customers and enterprise partners.

Aside from these, we also indulge ourselves in a couple of heavier snacks, like burgers. Who could ever resist a juicy, filling burger? Though it goes without saying that having a burger every day is bad for your health, it won’t hurt to treat ourselves every now and then.

With that said, we’re treating ourselves to Shake Shack’s latest offering: the Chick’n Shack burger. Just hearing about it makes us salivate so much. We’re definitely ordering some to be delivered to the MyKuya HQ!

If not burgers, we also go after desserts and oh boy, there are loads of sweet treats that we’re looking to buy. For one, we discovered that Mary Grace Cafe has brought back their special tiramisu. Mad Mark’s has also made available their take-home ice cream pints. To top it all off, Cafe Ysabel has started selling frozen mango jubilee cake.

We’re also happy to know that some of these restaurants are available in the malls that MyKuya is partnered with such as Ayala Malls and Robinsons Malls. Getting these desserts will now be easier than ever!

The general community quarantine may still be in effect in Metro Manila and other cities, but this doesn’t mean we have to limit our senses within the four walls of our homes and offices. Every day, we learn that we can still do more indoors like before. While staying safe, it wouldn’t hurt to have a bit of fun as well. The MyKuya team certainly knows how to work hard and play hard.
